Onduri Hunting Safaris is due south of the Etosha National Park in Namibia.
The lodge is 19° 37.947’S 15° 38.397’E. Privately owned. Hunting is mainly done from March to October which tends to be cool and dry.
Daytime temperatures are warm to hot, whereas at night it can get cold and a warm jacket would be needed at night. However, during the day temperatures can reach 30°C. The summer rains start in January till end of March. The land was previously used for cattle farming but historically has always had naturally occurring plains game. They still have some livestock.
There are no inhabitants on the land used. Onduri has two properties adjacent to each other, one of 8,000 and the other of 4,000 hectares. These areas are game-fenced, but they also have hunting rights in the Etosha Conservancy which is two hours away by road and has no fences. These hunting areas have no malaria.

Leopard, klipspringer and dik-dik are available on a limited quota. Both rifle and bow hunting is catered for.

The Lodge is purpose-built, and the lounge, bar and dining room are separate from the accommodation. All the buildings and chalets are brick with tin roofs. All have en suite bathrooms, flush toilets, hot and cold water and constant electricity. If there is a power failure they have a back-up generator. There is also a swimming pool, a boma, satellite TV, landline telephone as well as mobile phone and free Wi-Fi coverage. A maximum of 6 hunters can be accommodated at any one time and the minimum hunt offered is 7 days.
The distance to the closest tar road is nearly 30km. No lights can be seen and no vehicles can be heard. The nearest international airport is Windhoek, five hours away by vehicle. However, the closest airfield is 19° 33.652’S 15° 44.678’E which is a VFR 1,300 metre dirt runway. There is a hospital in Outjo 90 km away by road.
All meals are inclusive of the price and all dinners are four-course. Light breakfast followed by a big brunch is served, and the animals shot provide the meat. All drinks and alcohol in moderation are included in the daily rate. Two full-time trackers are employed who have been working for the Boshoff family from between two to 15 years. They also have skinners and lodge staff.
All clients are met at the airport on arrival and dropped off on departure at a cost of US$690. However, field preparation of trophies is included in the daily rate. The current daily rate for a one-on-one hunt is ‚¬380per day, and a two-on-one hunt is ‚¬320per day. Numerous package deals are also on offer.

Trophies are skinned, salted and stored in separate sheds made of brick, very secure and 100% vermin proof. These facilities are well ventilated and have electric lighting. The trophies once dried are stored separately and tags are used for identification. There is also an abattoir with cold room.All the skinners are trained by the taxidermist. Otjiwarongo Taxidermy is recommended. However, trophies can be shipped to the clients own taxidermist of choice.
