Founded in 1974, Greater Kuduland Safaris is a family-run hunting operation in South Africa that has become world-renowned for delivering high-quality big-game and plains-game hunting to rifle and bow hunters alike.
The owner, Howard Knott, has over 35 years of professional hunting experience, and leads most of the safaris on his 55,000 acre private game reserve located in the Great Limpopo Valley, arguably the finest hunting ground in the country. There are over 30 different wild game species available to hunt on the reserve, all of which are roam freely among an abundance of other wildlife, including four of the Big Five.
Howard actively promotes and practices fair-chase hunting, and through careful selection and limited hunting activity, herds are able to reach their maturity and produce animals of trophy quality each year.
The lodges cater exclusively to small hunting groups and single hunters with families. Clients have the option to charter directly into the reserve or be collected from Polokwane Airport. The hunting season runs from April – September and is limited to 40 hunters per season.
