Chris Troskie Safaris has been the outfit of choice for 17 years for discerning sportsmen and women from around the globe, and with good reason – our focus is on YOU. Based in the Waterberg region of Limpopo Province, South Africa, we hunt on more than 40,000 acres of prime hunting land directly from our luxurious camp. We also have access to hundreds of thousands of acres of more hunting land throughout the rest of South Africa. We cater for single hunters, families and groups, and thanks to meticulous game management practices, our hunting areas consistently produce high-end trophies. It is noteworthy that we don’t charge by the inch! Huge kudu, nyala, bushbuck and eland makes CT Safaris the ideal destination for the Spiral Horn Slam, but our expertise does not end there.
Hunt among herds of buffalo, sable and numerous South African plains game in expansive hunting preserves that only we have access to. When you book your hunt with us you will enjoy a proper, real, fair-chase hunting experience, and be guided by hand-selected, experienced professional hunters. You will feast on an array of five-star dishes prepared with great care by Sabina Troskie, and our superb accommodations and fireside talk will be cherished long after your return home. There simply is no substitute for great experience, and CT Safaris has it… in abundance!
Terrain: Depending on what species and which area we hunt, terrain can vary from thornveld savanna (Cape buffalo heaven) to sandveld (great for plains species such as gemsbok, blue wildebeest and red hartebeest), to riverine bush (perfect habitat for bushbuck and nyala). Being at the foothills of the Waterberg, some of our areas are quite mountainous, where big kudu, nyala and klipspringer hang out. Our Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal areas comprise a mixture of open grasslands (springbok habitat), and rocky outcrops and mountains where mountain reedbuck and grey rhebok are found.
