Their two camps are 23° 18.285’S 28° 27.451’E and 23° 29.793’S 28° 25.788’E
The hunting areas range from flat, open thornveld savannah, open grassland, rocky hills and densely wooded bush.
Privately owned
Hunting mainly takes place from March to October which tends to be cool and dry. Daytime temperatures are warm to hot, whereas at night it can get cold and a warm jacket would be needed at night. However, during the day temperatures can reach 30°C. The summer rains start in January till end of March.
This land was previously used for cattle farming but game has always occurred here naturally.
Hanno and his family own a 25000-hectare ranch which is game-fenced. No other hunters use this area and there is no malaria.
All the different trophy species are available, ranging from the Big Five to a steenbok. End-of-season discount hunts are also offered and the minimum hunt is seven days, but no culling takes place. Game capture takes place here and new stock is introduced to strengthen the gene pool. They also have an extensive breeding facility.
