Next year will be our 7th year presenting Africa’s finest line-up of hunting opportunities to new markets in North America, Spain and Denmark.

Attending is a costly exercise, and in order for us to feel comfortable, it is critical you understand:

  1. How we promote the expos
  2. How we promote you over and above attending the expos
  3. What you get when you attend one of our expos

There is a lot of BS spoken in this world and, as competition grows, time and money becomes more precious. It is important you review the fine print when considering options. With us:

1. The expos are promoted through magazines, TV programs, and associate relationships, and through our social media platforms. This includes Africa’s leading international hunting magazine, the African Hunting Gazette, our association with Sports Afield, our corporate partnership with The Hunting Report, Alberta Outdoorsmen, Wild TV, SCI Chapters, our website which is on page one of Google with ‘African Hunting’ and on our Facebook page which has more ‘likes’ than any other African hunting magazine.

2. Over and above attending our Expo, you will be promoted in the CONVENTION issue of the African Hunting Gazette. There is no better vehicle. Not only does every attendee to the expo get a copy, every single subscriber and reader of that issue, worldwide, for months and years to come will see your profile. On the busiest hunting website in Africa, your profile has the chance to be seen by every visitor to the site – before, during and after the expo, for an entire year. At every show we attend we hand out our directory, Hunt Africa Direct, meaning that your profile in this directory will be handed out at the minimum of the following shows – Atlanta, DSC, SCI Vegas, Edmonton, Calgary, Spain and Denmark.

3. You get a turnkey solution, which enables you to arrive with your brochures and do business. We set up the entire booth for you. Your booth banner will be designed, printed and installed, and power, internet, meals on each day, coffee, tea and water are provided – it is hassle free.

Our theme is going to remain focused and unchanged – Hunting for Africa’s greatest Spots, which essentially sums up what we’re about. You all have choices and we appreciate your business.

Calgary: Saturday January 30th and Sunday January 31st 2016
This will be our 4th year in Calgary located at the best venue in the city – The Coast Plaza Hotel www.coasthotels.com/hotels/ alberta/calgary/coast-plaza-hotel-and-conference-centre. Toronto: Saturday January 16th and Sunday January 17th 2016

Why Calgary, Alberta?

Alberta is blessed with an abundance of natural resources, including land, energy and forest resources, which have formed the foundation of this province’s thriving economy. Alberta has the highest employment rate of all Canadian provinces. It is recovering well from the global recession and is poised for strong economic growth in the next few years.

With over 100,000 registered resident hunters in Alberta, it is clear that hunting runs deep within the outdoor culture of this province. However many of these passionate sportsmen and women had assume that a safari outside of Canada would be outside of their means, a perception that we are changing by showcasing Africa’s and the rest of the world’s affordable hunting destinations.

Bringing the international hunting and fishing community to Calgary allows these men and women the opportunity to meet outfitters face to face, on their home soil, in a relaxed environment. This provides the ideal platform to discuss the many hunting and fishing opportunities the globe has to offer, without the travel and expense of visiting a large show across the border

Hunting in Canada is a national pastime that runs in Canadians blood. The hunting industry in Canada is a massive one that helps power its tourism and economy. Nearly 1.3 million Canadians participate in hunting, and 29% of them live in Ontario.

The inaugural African Hunting Show was held in Toronto in 2009, and this market has been growing steadily ever since then. Some outfitters are now reporting that over 60% of their business comes from the Canadian market. Toronto is the 4th largest North American city after New York,, Mexico and Los Angles. With a population of over 5.5 million in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the sheer potential for hunting tourism into Africa is unmatched by any other Canadian city.

Saskatoon

African Hunting Events – Saskatoon
2016
Saturday January 23rd (10:00am – 6:00pm) – Sunday January 24th (10:00am – 4:00pm)

Why Saskatoon ?

Why did we choose Saskatchewan to host a show? The following statement says it all. “North America offers many great hunting and fishing destinations – and then there is Saskatchewan. Our skies really do fill with waterfowl. Our deer are the largest in the world. Our lakes teem with fish, from perch at the end of a dock to fly-in grayling and lake trout. “ Clearly a culture of people born and raised on hunting in their back yards.

Every year tourists, including hunters and anglers, spend about $1.5 billion in Saskatchewan. In 2005, more than 70,000 people hunted in the province, 22,000 of them coming from other provinces or countries, mainly the United States.

Saskatchewan is the second largest oil producer in Canada after Alberta, accounting for more than 20% of the total Canadian oil production. There are an estimated 25 billion barrels of heavy oil in-place in the west-central region of the province, which represents the greatest potential for future development.Saskatchewan is also endowed with an abundant supply of natural resources. As a result of having been submerged under a prehistoric ocean, the province has an estimated 75% of the world’s potash reserves.

A province full of hunters, people who love the outdoors, living and working in a thriving economy with disposable income, where better than to showcase hunting in Africa?
